The city of Hunter has two parks, one located along a scenic waterway, the other one near a former school which is surrounded by residential. The larger west park has a ball diamond with lights, electric scoreboard, running water restrooms, and a concession stand. The park also has two large shelters available for use by groups and is well maintained throughout the summer season. The smaller park on the east side of Hunter has a tennis court. Both parks offer playground equipment.
